I can't find the course I am looking for, what can I do?

All course data is owned by BBGPS Golf and they also provide a great and easy way to create new courses online, either using Google Maps or Bing Maps. Creating a course on line is quick and easy and there is also a tutorial video that can be found here.

What is the Pre owner and what does it do in Golf Caddie?

The Pre owner is quite simply meant to be the person that owns the Pre (or other WebOS device) and the person that will be using Golf Caddie the most. When the Pre owner is set this enables the following functionality: Create a golf bag with a default set of clubs. The golf bag can be update with other clubs from the list but only 14 clubs are allowed in your bag at any one time. Once the default bag as been created this also allows to update the distance that you, the owner, can hit each club. For each club in your bag you can set the minimum distance and the maximum distance. These distances are then used in the GPS screen to suggest clubs to hit to the back, center and front of the green. The other piece of functionality that is available to the Pre owner is the ability to track your drive distance off the tee. In addition, the Pre owner will allows appear first on the scoring screen.

Does Golf Caddie calculate handicaps??

The simple answer is yes, it does. A minimum of five 18 hole rounds is required before a players handicap can be calculated. The handicap is checked when a round of golf is saved. All players who had scores for that round will be checked to see if they have sufficient rounds currently stored in Golf Caddie and if so a new handicap will be calculated.
